Transgender Floridians face disparities in healthcare, education, employment, housing, and public accommodations such as bathrooms and changing rooms. These disparities have been exacerbated by years spent in isolation due to the pandemic and recent legislative actions restricting healthcare and support within educational institutions while attacking the families of trans people, creating an even greater need to support the trans community than in years past. Trans Social SRQ is a trans-led organization that aims to provide this support.

Our Mission
To support the trans and gender-expansive community of Sarasota and Manatee counties by providing resources, safe social opportunities, and advocacy through partnerships with local businesses and organizations.

Our Vision
To establish nonprofit status and provide services and programs that enrich the local transgender community, working toward a world where transgender individuals are accepted, respected, and celebrated for their identities and have the resources and support they need to live their fullest, most authentic lives.
